Trip Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival

Bagdogra Airport/NJP – Gangtok (130 km / 06 hrs. approx.)

On arrival at Bagdogra Airport/NJP, meet our representative and drive to Gangtok. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. In the evening you are free to explore the local area overnight at the hotel in Gangtok.

New Baba Mandir & Tsomgo Lake

After breakfast, proceed to Tsomgo Lake (12,210 ft.) and New Baba Mandir, a 40 km drive that takes 2.5 hrs. This lake is located very close to Nathula Pass (on a direct payment basis), which is the entry point to China termed the “Silk Route” and remains frozen for most parts of the year.

The lake is home to the Brahminy ducks and many migratory birds. Nearby is the New Sacred Baba Mandir, which is highly acknowledged for its spiritual worth. In the evening you are free for your own activities. Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.

Note for Nathula Pass:

  • In case of landslide or any reason, Tsomgo Lake is closed. We will provide alternate sightseeing at Gangtok.
  • The Nathula Pass visit will be on a direct payment basis because it depends on the availability of permits from the army and is subject to weather & road conditions.
  • Nathula Pass is closed to visitors on Monday and Tuesday.

Gangtok half-local sightseeing—Darjeeling (100 km / 03 hrs. approx.)

Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to visit Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Do-Drul Chorten Stupa, and Gangtok City Ropeway (pay directly by yourself). After sightseeing, transfer to Darjeeling; upon arrival, check in at the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel in Darjeeling.

Early morning proceeds to Tiger Hill. Being the highest point of Darjeeling, Tiger Hill offers some of the best sights of the Himalayas, which are apt to be visited early in the morning. Imagine yourself standing in front of the mighty Kanchenjunga peak, the snow-clad peaks of which are turning golden due to the rising sun. Also visit the incredible Batasia Loop and Tibetan Buddhist Monasteries, one of the oldest monasteries in Darjeeling. It is also called Ghoom Monastery. Drive back to your hotel for a healthy breakfast.

After breakfast, visit Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Peace Pagoda, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (closed on Sunday), and Tenzing Rock. Overnight stay at a hotel in Darjeeling.

Optional Tour: Joy Ride (Toy Train): You can book the ticket directly on irctc.in.

Darjeeling – Bagdogra Airport/NJP – Departure (75 km / 03 hrs. approx.)

The morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel, and we will drop you off at Bagdogra Airport/NJP. The tour ends with sweet memories.

Note: Vehicle is used strictly as per the itinerary and not for disposal.

  • Vehicle & permit cost for Nathula Pass
  • Entry fee & Guide Charges
  • Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to increase in surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.
  • 5% GST.

Cancellation Policy

  • 45 Days of advance notice: full refund.
  • 30 Days to 15 days advance notice: 50% Refund-except flight bookings.
  • Less than 15 days Advance notice: No refund.
  • In case of a no show or cancellation of a guaranteed reservation the company has the right to levy retention charges for the entire stay.
  • No refund & no cancellation during peak time booking ( Deewali ,Pooja holidays ,Long weekends & Christmas & New year season ).

General Policy

  • For Confirming Package half payment should be done and full payment before the Cut Off Date.
  • Normally Hotel Check In time is 2 PM & check out time is 11 AM hrs.
  • The Company has the right to cancel non- guaranteed reservations after the cut-off date.
  • In the unlikely event of our inability to accommodate you despite your holding a guaranteed reservation we will arrange alternate accommodation & transport you at our cost.(Extra Kilometers will be Charged)
  • Please make a full amount before the cut-off date and kindly revert the scanned copy of deposit slip after making the payment. Our Reservation team will send you the hotel voucher after receiving the advance amount.
